Data Integration Consultant

Job Description

As a Data Integration & Conversion Consultant with SAP S/4 HANA experience, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration and conversion of data from various sources into SAP S/4 HANA system. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust data integration solutions while adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data integration strategies to facilitate the seamless flow of data into SAP S/4 HANA system from multiple sources such as legacy systems, third-party applications, and external data providers
  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract, transform, and load data into SAP S/4 HANA using tools like SAP Data Services, SAP LT Replication Server, or similar technologies
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data conversion requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data mapping documents
  • Lead data cleansing and data quality initiatives to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data migrated to SAP S/4 HANA
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation activities to verify the integrity of migrated data and troubleshoot any data-related issues
  • Develop and maintain data migration scripts, programs, and tools to automate data conversion processes and improve efficiency
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams during all phases of data migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working as an SAP consultant or data integration specialist with a focus on SAP S/4 HANA
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA data migration tools and techniques, including SAP Data Services, SAP LT Replication Server, LSMW, or SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and experience with data conversion methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with ETL development, data transformation, and data cleansing activities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues
