SAP Analyst

Job Description

We have an opening for a SAP Analyst focusing on the FICO module in Richmond, Virginia. This position is onsite and is responsible for using the SAP platform to create solutions to resolve complex Finance and Accounting procedural problems. This position will also be responsible for providing support to SAP users on an ongoing basis. As the successful candidate, you will be expected to use the SAP development tool to design, implement, maintain, and support application solutions in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Credit Management, General Ledger, Costing, Profitability, and Banking. This will include collaborating with the project team members and users to develop or enhance specific applications that support continuous functional improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test plans to ensure expected performance levels Test system modifications/enhancements
• Document system modifications/enhancements
• Train and support end users Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Accounting, Human Resources or other related business discipline
• 3 or more years of experience working with SAP FI and MA modules
• General understanding of SAP GL and Fixed Assets functionality Some prior experience in accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets or payroll
• Prior project management experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel
