SAP PP/PM Architect

Job Description

Thinking Minds Inc. is seeking a skilled SAP PP/PM Architect for its client, focusing on Production Planning, Shop Floor Execution, and Plant Maintenance within SAP S/4 HANA and ancillary systems. The ideal candidate will work on incident management, service requests, and the full SDLC for new configurations and developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary architect for SAP Production Planning, Shop Floor Execution, and Plant Maintenance.
• Analyze and optimize existing business processes and develop value-driven solutions.
• Prepare technical design documents and collaborate with ABAP developers for enhancements.
• Support system localization for mergers and acquisitions, guiding external consultants as necessary.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal customers, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth implementations.
• Provide functional support for reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Engage in preventative maintenance scheduling, order settlements, and production version management.

Requirements

• Expertise in SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), with in-depth knowledge of S/4 HANA functionality.
• At least 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Strong understanding of batch-managed environments, master data (BOMs, Recipes, Equipment, etc.), and integration with MM, SD, QM, and FI/CO modules.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Order Settlement, and Process Order Management.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
